This is called Care Navigation.
It's about helping you get to the service you need.
Your local practice reception team have been specially trained and may suggest other professionals that could help you better.

Since 17th June 2019 Central Surgery has implemented a system called Care Navigation.
Care Navigation involves reception staff asking for information relating to your particular complaint and query.
The information given enables staff to direct you to the most appropriate care available for your request.
Care Navigation was implemented to assist our patients and not to gather unnecessary personal information from you.
